Ken Dunne lucky to line out with club on County Final Sunday

A major health scare won’t keep Toomevara hurling legend Ken Dunne from lining out for his club in the Seamus O’Riain hurling final against Roscrea on Sunday.

Ken, who’s 40 next Monday, had his life was turned upside down last April when he suffered a seizure while on a family trip, and had to be rushed to hospital.

He underwent surgery to remove a lump from his brain, and five weeks later, he was back in light training with Toomevara.

Ken is set to line out in Semple this Sunday, and says he’s very lucky….

And you can hear Ken’s interview in full this evening on Straight Talk with Jackie Cahill from 6 o’clock.
