56 people are being treated on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this afternoon.
33 of those are in the Emergency Department, while the other 23 are in overflow areas of already full wards.
While South Tipp General in Clonmel is also quite busy today wwith 29 patients in need of a bed.
Nationally 433 people are on trolleys in hospitals around the country today – that’s an increase of 32% on the same day last year when there were 329 patients on trolleys.
