Hospital recruitment roadshows hits Tipp

Efforts to recruit medical staff for the Mid-West region move to South Tipperary today.

The UL Hospitals Group recruitment road show will be in Clonmel to discuss career opportunities for a number of areas.

Recruiting and retaining staff has been a major issues not just for the UL Hospitals group but for hospitals across the country.

The Roadshow events are an opportunity for those interested to find out more about career opportunities at the UL Hospitals Group.

Today’s event at the Hotel Minella runs from 10 this morning until 5 this evening – it’s aimed at nurses, midwives, registrars, radiographers and general hospital staff.

People are being advised to bring their CV with them for consideration and job interviews can be arranged if candidates are considered suitable.

The UL Hospitals Group comprises of six clinical sites including University Hospital Limerick and Nenagh Hospital – the group currently employ over 3,500 people.

They are due to open a brand new €24m Emergency Department at the end of May at University Hospital Limerick.
