Hospital overcrowding eases slightly

There are still 388 people waiting for beds in hospitals around the country this afternoon compared to 466 yesterday.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst hit once again with 49 patients on trolleys according to the INMO.

Cork University Hospital is next with 41, followed by 32 at University Hospital Galway.

26 patients who have been admitted to South Tipp General in Clonmel are also without a bed today.
