People with O negative and A positive blood types are being urged to donate blood in Cahir this evening.
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service will be holding a clinic at Cahir House Hotel between 5 and 8:30pm.
Blood supplies are low at the moment at 4.5 days – well below the normal 7 days – while O negative is at 3.1, with A positive at 2.8 days.
