Busy Monday for hospitals serving Tipperary

429 patients are waiting for a bed at hospitals across the country.

According to the INMO, 290 of those are waiting in emergency departments while 139 are in wards.

The most overcrowded hospital is University Hospital Galway with 50 followed by Cork University Hospital at 45.

South Tipp General in Clonmel has 26 patients without a bed while front line staff at University Hospital Limerick have 37 people on trolleys.
