More than 60 patients without a bed between UHL & STGH

Over 60 patients are without a bed at the two main hospitals serving Tipperary this lunchtime.

Latest figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show there are 35 people being treated on trolleys or chairs at University Hospital Limerick, making it once again, the most over crowded hospital in the Country today.

At South Tipp General in Clonmel 28 patients who have been admitted to the hospital are waiting for a bed.

Nationally the number of patients without a bed today stands at 455.
