There are 457 people are waiting for beds in hospitals across the country this lunchtime.
According to the INMO the worst-hit today is Cork University Hospital with 46 people waiting on trolleys.
University Hospital Limerick – which serves North Tipp – has 42 while there are 28 without a bed at South Tipp General.
