Over 320 hospital patients without a bed

According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation 40 of these are at St Lukes Hospital in Kilkenny.

University Hospital Limerick – which serves North Tipp, Limerick and Clare – has 36 people being cared for on trolleys around the Emergency Department or in overflow areas of wards.

Meanwhile at South Tipp General in Clonmel there are 17 patients waiting for a bed this afternoon.
