Over 100 people awaiting a bed at hospitals serving Tipperary

University Hospital Limerick is suffering from severe overcrowding today.

The hospital provides emergency department cover North Tipp and currently has 72 patients awaiting a bed.

That’s followed by Cork University Hospital and University Hospital Galway on 54 and 38 respectively.

South Tipp General has 30 people on trolleys. Nationally, there are 510 people awaiting a bed.
