The discovery of hand grenades and guns on the Tipperary – Limerick border has raised fears of renewed gang violence.
28 grenades were found in a shed at a house between Murroe and Castleconnell.
Two sub-machine guns and two semi-automatic handguns were also discovered along with almost 500 rounds of ammunition.
