Good news for hopeful Tipperary homeowners planning a self build.

The previous legislation has been brought in post Priory Hall to prevent a repeat of substandard developments being constructed

However it also it had the add on negative impact of imposing huge costs on self-builds here in Tipperary and across the country.

These new regulations mean people building single dwellings or extensions will be given the choice of opting out of statutory certification and may instead show alternative means that they have met their general building obligations.
