An overnight break-in to a supermarket in Cloughjordan is under investigation.
Thieves broke into the Centra Store on Main Street shortly before 2am.
They made their way through two steel doors and two timber doors to gain access to the “strong room”.
The thieves made off with what's described as a significant quantity of cigarettes.
They also ripped out the CCTV system and took that with them.
Anyone who spotted any suspicious activity in the Cloughjordan area overnight is asked to contact Gardai in Nenagh on 067 31333.
