49 year old Peter Whelan of Boytonrath Boreen, Kileenasteena, New Inn and 51 year old Raymond Farrell, also of Boytonrath are both facing two charges of drug possession and possession with intent of sale and supply.
Mr Whelan, who runs the local boxing club in Cashel, is also facing a third count over an illegally held shotgun.
The men were arrested following the discovery of over a thousand cannabis plants in New Inn on Friday morning.
They appeared before a special sitting of Nenagh District Court on Sunday night where they were both remanded in custody to appear again this morning at Clonmel courthouse.
