Funding is being sought from central government to fix a bridge in the Moyglass area.
The bridge, over the Clashawley river at Clonbrogan, has fallen into a state of disrepair and has rendered the road impassable.
The council hadn’t been aware that the bridge was in such bad condition, and hadn’t included the project in their budget this year.
