Former UN Peacekeepers to operate Clonmel cafe.

 


The cafe and toilet facilities at Clonmel Railway and bus station are to reopen shortly.

The cafe had been closed in recent times leaving passengers and tourists without access to refreshment or toilet facilities.

According to local Fine Gael TD Tom Hayes and Councillor Michael Murphy the facility on Thomas Street will be managed by local members of the IUNVA, a group made up of Irish people who have completed a tour of duty with the United Nations

The Cafe will be up and running in two weeks.
