Fine Gael at loggerheads over General Election date

The current government has until April of 2016 before they are mandated to go to the people – and Enda Kenny is said to be staunchly against having a vote any earlier.

But some of his party colleagues disagree – they want an election late next year, on the back of a tax-cut budget.
