There’s fears that Irish Water will continue to hold up planned roadworks in Thurles.
Tipperary County Council is planning a redevelopment of Abbey Road up to the Lidl roundabout in the Mid Tipp Town.
But Irish Water also have plans to replace pipes there so the local authority have been waiting for the last year for the utility to carry out it’s work so the road resurfacing can get underway.
Cllr Seamus Hanafin says this ongoing delay is unacceptable..
