A hill walker has been airlifted from the Galtee’s near Cahir.
The South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association was alerted to the incident shortly after 2 o’clock this afternoon.
It’s understood the walker suffered lower leg injuries in a fall while in the Slieveanard area of the mountains just a few kilometres from Cahir.
Rescue 117 was called in from Waterford to assist in the operation.
