There's a new page written today in the history of Tipp FM.
This follows the announcement of the sale of a controlling interest in the station to a group of Tipperary and Clare investors.
The new group, DreamGlade Ltd., is to acquire the shares owned by Irish Press plc subject to the approval of the Competition Authority.
This is seen as a natural progression from last year's strategic cost-saving alliance between Clare FM and Tipp FM.
Current Chairman of Co. Tipperary Radio, Michael Crowley says the move is a vote of confidence in Tipp FM.
Cloughjordan native Liam O Shea, Managing Director and C.E.O.of both stations is heading up the new grouping.
