DPP instructions expected in aggravated burglary case.

Seven men accused of carrying out an aggravated burglary at the home of a young Tipperary family are due back in court today.

DPP instructions in the case are expected to be outlined at today's sitting of Cashel District Court.
The seven men, all with addresses in Dublin are each charged with a single count of aggravated burglary at the home of Emma and Mark Corcoran and their three young daughters at Burnchurch, Killenaule in the early hours of the 21st of November last year.

During subsequent hearings in relation to the charges – the court heard that a number of the accused – who are all aged between 19 and 26 – were granted bail by the High Court – while two were refused.

All seven are due back before Judge Terrance Finn at Cashel District Court at 10.30 this morning where it’s expected that DPP instructions on the matter will be sought.
