Tipperary hurler returns home

A Tipperary hurler who was injured in an accident in London last  July has returned home.
Lorrha native, Tony Hogan was hit by a black cab as he left  the Irish-owned  Swans pub in Stockwell  on July 27th after a night out with his teammates from the Pearse Brothers Hurling club in London.
After being treated  for his injuries at Denmark Hill hopital and St. Mary's in Paddington, he has come home to his native county in time for Christmas.

It is the first time he has been home since the accident.

Tony was a member of this year's London hurling team that captured the Christy Ring Cup.
