The 6th Annual Fethard Medieval festival comes to a close to-day with large crowds expected in the town . The parade starts at the Town Hall at 2pm passes through main Street and across the bridge to the Valley park. This years festival comes after the recent heavy rain saw the town suffer the worst floods in sixty years. Mary Hanrahan, secretary of the Fethard festival committee said there's a special dimension to this year's parade as two mounted members of the Garda Force take part.
