118 million will be going into broadband investment for Tipperary.

This will cover 29,600 homes, farms, businesses and schools across the county.

Deputy Michael Lowry welcomed the news, saying broadband is a vital infrastructure to improve people’s lives.

All of Tipperary will be connected to high speed internet, but ten rural hubs will get priority.

Deputy Lowry outlined the different areas that will benefit.
