The new single authority for the county is divided into five districts which will hold seperate monthly gatherings.
At this weeks first meeting of the Clonmel Borough District Councillor Andy Moloney raised concerns about the proposed 2pm start for their monthly meeting which is due to be held on the third Wednesday of each month.
He says the abolition of Town and Borough Councils together with the merging of North and South Tipp County Councils will place extra work on the elected representatives who also have to continue with their day job.
