Two men have appeared in Cashel District Court on charges of false imprisonment.
21 year old Kevin Humphries, of 27 Ard na Greine, Clonmel, and 20 year old Cody Browne, with an address at 2 Church Close, Clerihan, were charged at Clonmel Garda Station yesterday afternoon in relation to an incident on October 9th.
The charges are in connection with the abduction of an 18 year old man on King Street in Clonmel.
He was forced into a car before being assaulted – he was found later that night at Powers the Pot in the hills overlooking Clonmel.
There was no garda objection to bail being granted to both accused, subject to conditions.
The case was adjourned to Clonmel District Court on December 5 next.
