Sometime around 3 o’clock this morning thieves tried to gain access to the National School in Ballina.
However they failed to get into the building on Grange Road.
Anyone who may have been in the area in the early hours or spotted anything suspicious is asked to contact Killaloe Garda station on 061 376242.
