A juvenile remains in custody in Tipperary Town Garda Station this morning, in connection with an assault on another teenager in the town on Thursday night.
The incident occurred in the Lakelands area of Tipperary – A young teenager was found with serious head injuries at around 10:50pm.
The 14 year old victim remains in a critical condition in South Tipp General Hospital.
Local gardaí have carried out door-to-door inquiries, and have appealed for anyone who was in the area on Thursday night to contact them on 062-51212.
