Patrick Quirke has spent his first night in prison after being found guilty of murdering his ex-lover’s boyfriend Bobby Ryan.
The 50-year-old farmer from Breanshamore in Tipperary was convicted by majority verdict yesterday following the longest murder trial in the history of the State.
