A major Garda operation in the Roscrea area led to a number of arrests yesterday.
Large numbers of Gardaí were in the area as part of a national Stop & Search campaign.
Armed officers from national units were part of the operation which resulted in a number of individuals being arrested for the purpose of searching vehicles.
No shots were fired.
