The roads department in Tipperary County Council are requesting the early release of funding for the Local Improvement Scheme in 2018.
Last year, the local authority had applied for the funding to repair rural roads, but they did not receive approval for the works until November.
Applications are open to the public now until January 31st, however the completion of works depends on funding being made available by the Department of Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs.
