Carrick collision ends in High Court action


A collision on the N24 in Carrick on Suir two and a half years ago has resulted in a High Court action.

Nenagh man Kieran Madden was left paralysed from the neck down after timber pallets fell from a truck onto the car he was in.

The incident happened when the artic struck a railway bridge on the Waterford road in Carrick on Suir in January 2010.

24 year old Mr. Madden is now confined to a wheelchair – he has sued New Ross based Nolan Transport and the driver of the truck Vladimer Dolmat.

The case continues.
