Calls are being made to speed up the process of amalgamating two schools in Cahir, which is moving at ‘an archaeic pace.’
Ideas were mooted to amalgamate the boys’ national school, and Our Lady of Mercy national school, around the year 2000.
However, despite having the land and plans in place, the process is at a standstill.
