Calls for changes to parking in a bid to boost trade

Businesses across Tipperary are said to be crying out for a change in parking charges in a bid to boost trade.

Independent representative Hughie McGrath sounded a warning at this months meeting of the County Council that he would be looking for changes come budget time.

The Nenagh based councillor says there should be a level playing field to allow town centre traders compete with shopping centres.
