Calls are being made for a carpark in Borrisokane, following the news that plans by the TII and Tipperary County Council will see up to 30 spaces in the town lost.
The project is that of the long-awaited resurfacing of Borrisokane’s Main Street, which is confirmed to take place next year.
The spaces will be lost due to the inclusion of double yellow lines, and calls are being made for the council to purchase additional land or space to accomodate carparking affected by these parking restrictions.
