Significant drop in new car sales in Tipp

New car sales in Tipperary are down significantly this year.

Latest figures show 3,558 cars were registered in the Premier County to the end of November.

This accounts for 2.7% of sales across the 26 counties this year.

However it’s down 580 or 14% on the first eleven months of last year during which 4,138 T registrations were logged.

In all 131,200 new cars have been registered in Ireland between January and the end of November – a fall of 10%.
