Nenagh is growing much faster than any other town in the Premier County.
Census figures show the population has increased by more than 50% since the mid-90s.
The town will be putting its best foot forward next week when judges from the Bank of Ireland Enterprise Town competition arrive.
Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce Denis Finnerty says Nenagh has grown dramatically in recent years.
Nenagh has the lowest rate of unoccupied commercial premises in Tipperary.
The North Tipp town is also bucking the trend with a large number of women in business.
Denis Finnerty says this is adding a huge amount to Nenagh.
