High speed broadband a step closer in Tipperary

The roll out of high-speed broadband to over 30,000 premises in the Premier County has moved a step closer.

Works to finalise the contract for the National Broadband Plan is making good progress.

Currently, a third of households in Tipperary are without high speed broadband.

CEO of National Broadband Ireland, Peter Hopkins says initially in Tipperary they will begin with a series of digital hubs.
