The Minister for Foreign Affairs Simon Coveney is in London today, to hear from UK business leaders about their response to Brexit.

It comes as a new report warns of “widespread, damaging and pervasive” consequences for the UK if both sides can’t reach agreement on a trade deal.

Think-tank ‘UK in a Changing Europe’ says it could result in British airlines being unable to fly, nuclear power stations stopping operations and “legal limbo” for millions of EU citizens in the UK.

Minister Coveney says his talks today will stress the importance of preventing a return of a hard border, and protecting the gains of the peace process.
