Nearly 900 artefacts illegally gathered by a treasure hunter living in Tipperary have been recovered.
The British man had worked with an associate in the UK to pass the goods on.
The pieces, including hundreds of medieval coins and a Bronze Age axe, were found by the man using a metal detector.
The items were found following a tip-off from the British Museum when a hoard of silver coins were taken into Britain illegally.
