Bord na Mona is coming under pressure to invest in the future of its plant in Littleton.
The calls come from Tipperary TD Jackie Cahill, following the significant jobs announcement for the former Lisheen Mines site yesterday.
He says Vedanta have proven that when older industries come to an end – there are still employment opportunities for local communities.
