Ardfinnan sensory garden plans dealt a blow

Ardfinnan Tidy Towns are appealing for anyone with information on the robbery of about €1,500 worth of rubber mats to come forward.

The committee are in the process of providing a sensory garden down Pleasant Way, attached to school.

Hill View Sports Club in Clonmel had donated 18 large, heavy, rubber mats for the project, which were delivered to the garden on Monday October 2nd.

When members of the Tidy Towns went to the garden the following Friday evening, the mats were gone.

Annette Savage, Secretary of Ardfinnan Tidy Towns says those who took the mats must have had it planned.
