Thieves struck in broad daylight at a private house just outside Kilsheelan yesterday afternoon.
The estimated time of the break-in was between 12.30 and 1.30 P.M.
They made off with two computers and cash that was meant for a family holiday.
One computer was an Apple laptop while the second was a large new desktop.
Among the items on the laptop was 2 years work on a music programme.
A family member has appealed to the better nature of the thieves to return what's on the laptop even if they hold on to the equipment itself.
