Funding has been announced which will benefit the rural water sector in Tipperary.
Minister Eoghan Murphy has announced further grant allocations of over €3.6 million to local authorities for group water and group sewerage schemes.
Tipperary County Council has been allocated over €415,000 which will go towards the improvement of water quality in existing group water schemes.
This latest funding brings to €15.3 million the amount allocated for the rural water sector in 2017, an increase of nearly 46% on the funding allocated last year.
