491 people waiting for a hospital bed today

According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are 39 patients on trolleys or chairs at University Hospital Limerick.

Frontline staff at South Tipp General in Clonmel are dealing with 33 patients in corridors around the Emergency Department or in overflow areas of wards.

Cork University Hospital is the most overcrowded today with 42 patients without a bed.
