3 grass-roots Fine Gael members from North Tipp have been selected to go on the party ticket for the upcoming local elections.
At last night's convention for the Nenagh Electoral Area, the current Cathaoirleach Ger Darcy was chosen to go forward along with former Senator and Councillor Tom Berkerry and former Mayor Tom Moylan.
Tipperary North TD Noel Coonan who along with MEP Sean Kelly, addressed the convention says there is still an option for others to be chosen with a recommendation put forward calling for extra candidates to come from local grass-roots level
