Tipp Today – Thursday February 8th 2018

In the first hour of this mornings Tipp Today, Fran spoke to a caller Graham who has been left devastated by the vandalism of his grandmothers headstone at the graveyard in Cloughjordan. We spoke about the sighting of a bottle nosed dolphin in the River Suir in Carrick! We also spoke about new street lighting for parts of North Tipp and we spoke about the Young Fine Gael conference which comes to Tipp next month.

In the second hour of this mornings Tipp Today, we had our GP slot with Doctor Pat Harrold who answered listener queries, we also spoke to Noel O’Dwyer about roads in Thurles and we spoke to some students from Templemore who are currently studying in Tenerife!

In the final hour of Tipp Today, Trudy went to visit Black Castle in Thurles to meet the new owners and hear their plans on the castles’ development. We also had our weekly vet slot with Mairead from Arra Vets. We also spoke to solicitor Julie Sadler about a new guide for people who find themselves in mortgage distress, while there was more reaction on our coverage this week on residents near Semple Stadium affected by match day parking.
