Brent Pope is a former New Zealand rugby player, coach author, fashionista, and charity worker, Brent is well known for his rugby punditry for RTE for the past 20 years and has also appeared on most high-profile television programmes.
Brent has published 6 children’s books for various charities, penned an award-winning autobiography titled Brent Pope if you really knew me, and has a successful shirts and shoe brand.
Brent is one of Ireland’s advocates on mental health and is an ambassador for many mental health organisations including St Patrick’s Hospital, Pieta House, Cycle against suicide amongst others.
Brent has just published a book title win about mental health in Irish sports out in February and is in his final year of study to become a qualified psychotherapist and councillor. Brent is a spokesperson for mental wellbeing after suffering from anxiety and panic attacks most of his life, Brent led this year’s mental health summit in the Aviva stadium
