One Tipperary man has been honoured on the Electric Ireland Higher Education Rising Stars hurling team of the year.
JK Brackens clubman and Mary I student Eanna McBride has been chosen at corner back on the team which honours the best third level stars in the country.
UCC won their second Fitzgibbon Cup title in a row earlier this year, with their Cork senior forward Shane Kingston named higher education hurler of the year.
