A Tipperary farmer will receive a prestigious traditional music award later today in Belfast.
Ned Kelly from Ballycommon is being rewarded for his many years teaching children music in the area, and will receive the Outstanding Contribution award at the Gradam Ceoil at the Waterfront Hall.
He will perform with his ‘In Tune for Life Orchestra’ as part of the ceremony.
Mr Kelly says it’s a wonderful honour.
